Week 4 - the FINAL week of the Beat Busyness Challenge is here. I'm wondering if you did any editing over the past week, or thought about editing. Remember, this wasn't a one week shot. I hope you'll think of this weekly and continue to strike off a couple of things from your list to carve out some good, quality time.If you are not following along, I hope you are filing this all back and will revisit. I actually had someone tell me they liked this new challenge, but were just too busy to participate now! What??? You get the irony there, right?Anyway, here we go to our final week and remember, as I've said all along:Consciously choosing how we spend our time when we can is the single most important thing we can do to create our life. This week I am encouraging you to find time to be alone. Yes, alone. I'm not talking about going to the mall alone and strolling around or going by yourself to Target. I'm not even talking about going for a walk and listening to music or a podcast. Not even talking about driving around in your car, windows rolled down with your favorite tunes playing. I am talking alone with just you, yourself, by yourself with no noise or distractions and simply dead silence. That might actually scare some of you. There is so much power in your alone time. Your mind gets to actually think, problem solve and create. Think about it for a second. Don't you know you typically get your best ideas, plans and work through issues when you are alone and have the mind space to let your brain do its thing? It is a key piece in re-charging and rejunivating, especially in this loud, crowded, overload of information time.
