Bulu Box and Athleta Surprises this week . . .

Early in the week I received a surprise, cool box in the mail.  Who doesn't love surprises and getting cool stuff in the mail?  This is a Bulu Box.FullSizeRender copy Notice all the cool and motivational quotes on the outside?  If nothing else it's a fun box to have!I opened it to find this inside:IMG_0250It is a week's full of healthy samples!  I've taken the week to try all the samples.I loved the Quest Protein Powder.  I'm telling  you it was like drinking a milkshake in the morning and later in the week, made a delightful afternoon treat.  I have always loved Quest Protein bars and now see what I have been missing by not using the protein powder.FullSizeRenderIMG_0265       I admit I wasn't too thrilled to have two packets of peanut butter flavor, but how wrong that was!  The shake or smoothie is so thick and creamy with just a hint of peanut butter.  In fact, The Husband tasted and didn't even know it was peanut butter flavored!  You can see my afternoon treat was like a real live milkshake with the added dark chocolate chips.  So good!  I'll definitely add this to my list.I wasn't sure when or why I would need the little jar of anti itch cream, but boy has it come in handy.IMG_0252I decided to tackle a pretty big yard project this week that entailed digging up and removing about 12 azalea plants and clearing out the bed.  I almost thought I'd bitten off more than I could chew!  I'm happy to say it is all cleared out and ready for phase two.  I can't wait to show the before and after, because there is a "healthy living" spin to this project. Anyway, getting to the Earth's Care Anti-Itch Cream.  Yesterday, I started itching like crazy on my left wrist and now my arm.  I'm thinking I tackled something in those bushes that I shouldn't have.  This cream is saving me from clawing myself to death!  I'm quite thankful it was in my Bulu Box.(Not sure what happened to make the pic so blurry)Also included were some of these energy gummies:IMG_0264I tasted a couple of these between teaching two classes the other day and liked the citrus flavor and little perk they gave.  They would be perfect to have on hand for a long run,  during training or sprint triathlon type of work when you need that burst.  I also especially liked flipping the bag over to the back to see the nutritional content and finding the verse from Phillipians 4:13 printed, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."That's a company I can support. There is an all natural, gluten free, non-GMO, nutrition bar with equal parts protein and fiber from Mediterra included.  Their bars are packed with fruits, vegetables, grains and seeds for a healthy snack.  At 160 calories I found it the perfect, satisfying little snack to have in my purse or in my car while I was running around.Lastly, Yerba Prima included a sample of its daily fiber formula.  I tried this mixed in with a large bottle of water.  It has a tangy orange flavor that was a bit better than some of the other fiber powders I've tried.  I think it would also be good to add to a smoothie for extra fiber. So, these are the fun, healthy surprises I got to try all week.  And if YOU would like to try out your very own Bulu Box you can use the code SWEATPINK to get 50% OFF OF A 3, 6 OR 12 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION ON BULUBOX.COM!Here's the deal:  Each month you will receive 4-5 vitamin, supplement and healthy snack samples.  If you like a sample you can get a full size in the Bulu Box shop.  They have a cool REWARDS POINTS program.  Each month subscribers can take a quick sample survey about the samples in exchange for 10 REWARD POINTS, to equal 50 POINTS.  Every 50 points is $5 to use toward a full size product on BuluBox.com.Bulu Box is working on their mission to share healthy products to help folks live their healthiest life.  That's a company I can get behind!Speaking of companies, one of my favorite fitness apparel companies is Athleta.  It is one of my favorite places to shop.  I don't consider myself a huge shopper.  While I do have more stuff in my closet than I should, I'm not one of those gals who shops like its a hobby and spends a lot of money on clothes.  I admit that I like my bargain finds.  But when I do venture out, I've always liked Athleta's casual street style and favor their workout clothes.  Recently, the Atlantic Station Athleta store sent an email to some of their instructors with a shopping contest.  Any person who went into the store and  mentioned my name received 25% off any item, including sale items.  That's a good deal!  At the end, the two instructors with the most referrals would win $150 outfit. To my huge surprise I won!  I never win anything!  Thanks to all of my sweet shopping class participants who went to the Atlantic Station Athleta and mentioned my name, I was able to do some shopping of my own!!  And, of course, I went over my prize limit . . . but I still felt like it was free, right?  Thanks so much!IMG_0269 Lastly, this is not a surprise in any way, because this is basically a gift to me from my pup Lu that just keeps giving.  She gives, I throw, she returns, gives me the ball, I throw, she returns, gives me the ball . . . .and it keeps going, and going, and going. . . the never-ending gift.IMG_0268It's been a good week. How about your week?  Any surprises this week?  What was the last thing you won?  ENJOY YOUR DAY!Signature  If you are interested in trying out BuluBox don't forget to use the code SWEATPINK for 50% off!!*While I was not compensated for writing this post, Bulu Box did send me the samples to try.  All the opinions are mine.*
