Create The Change Check In

Day 28!! 28 days of moving forward to creating something new and good, OR decreasing or eliminating something from you day, routine and lifestyle.  It is sticking now.  You can see some change in ways that you anticipated AND, hopefully, in other ways you didn't even expect.I think those bonus benefits are HUGE!  Looking back on the week, who or what kept you accountable?  If you follow me on Instagram, you'll have seen what kept me accountable for the 30 minute walks that I have created as a habit.

Keeps Me Accountable!

Having an accountability partner, cheerleader or even a dog, is a huge help in making a change that will become a permanent part of your lifestyle.  Some days and weeks, the accountable part may change, and may change with the next change you work on creating.  However, the point is that it makes it much easier for it to stick, for you not to stray too far off course or even forget why you are reaching for this goal and then, give it up.I've said all along, that you all are what holds me accountable, even if you don't know it.  I know you are not actively texting and emailing me to put down my phone.  BUT, just knowing I've told you all that my change is to create a new habit around my phone - one where I am not picking it up "just because it's there" and to set boundaries around my time and use of it - has helped me stick to this goal. The last of the Nuggets that really makes my Roadmap for Creating Change work is to constantly MONITOR.  At the end of each week, it is important to take stock of the week.  What worked?  What didn't?  Where did you do well?  Where did you slip up?You are not going to have a perfect week.  In fact, one week you may completely back slide.  Guess what?  That means you are a normal human.  However, as long as you do not continue moving backwards, then that is progress.  You pick up and move forward into the next week.  But that is an important lesson for you.  What happened?  And why?  And what can you do better at  the following week?  MONITORING your progress is incredibly important for you to see the results you want.I want you to be able to use these 5 nuggets at any point from now on.  Keep this handy so you can have a print out reminder for your next lifestyle change.  AND  I would suggest coming back to it in a couple of weeks just as a refresher to this Challenge.  It will be your reminder as to Why you are here.  Why you joined this Challenge and put you back in line with your goals.

30 Days to Create the Change

I've love the feedback I've received so far.  I'd love to hear more. You all have done a fantastic job jumping in to create what you want and how you want to be and to incorporate some new rituals into your lifestyle.   I'm all about moving forward in whatever way we can.  We all have our own experiences, stories, habits and lifestyles that make us unique and who we are.  But I think we can always find small steps or even big ways to move ourselves forward for the better.Thank you for joining along.  Let me know how the next few days go as we round out our 30 Days!

Stay Well!

*Cheers to Moving Forward!
