Holiday Gift Guide . . . My Favorite Things
I've finally gotten around to one of my favorite things . . . My Annual Holiday Gift Guide . . . My Favorite Things from the year and some things that look like they might be my favorite, if certain someones take the hint and slip them under my tree! It's crazy that I already feel behind the eight ball on posting this. Lots of blogger folks had shopping lists out the day after Thanksgiving. As I stated earlier, I like to soak up one holiday at a time so I just can't think that far ahead.Since it is officially December and we've put up our tree, put out the favorite decorations and even lit the Advent candle I am officially in the mood. If you are looking for some fun, useful and different gifts for others, or yourself, here are a few of my favs. (in no particular order!)Some of these you can order right from my site. So easy!Corkcicle TumblerI love, love, love this water bottle! I carry it with me 24/7. It goes to teach class, beside me on the yoga mat, on my beside table, on the tennis court, in my car . . .you get the idea. It keeps water nice and cold all day and night, is sturdy stainless steel without being too heavy and has a wonderful top with a sliding opener so it doesn't spill all over the place. Love this!Gratitude JournalsMy boys were given individual gratitude journals at Thanksgiving and I loved the idea. I've taken to jotting one or more things down each day, even if on a scrap of paper, as a reminder to keep me thankful. It's amazing how that little act can turn my mood! Paige at The Little Journal Co has some cool journals. I love that she's a creative Southern entrepreneur. Check out these Gratitude JournalsCrock PotDo I even need to give an explanation here? If you know me you know a week does not go by without at least one crock pot meal in this house. I own three crock pots and love them all equally!Lounge Pants made by SudaraI admit that I do not own a pair of these pants, but they look so comfy. Also, I love the story behind the pants. Here is the description from the website:Made proudly in India by women working to remain free from sex slavery. Perfect for meaningful gifts or a little something for yourself.I'd like to support these women and also enjoy these fun and comfy looking pants!Good Fruits and FoodMy mom used to always send The Husband a great box of fresh oranges for his birthday. He loved fresh squeezed orange juice. And guess who got to do all that squeezing? Ha. She also sent the Third Son a basket of clementines for his birthday because he loved them so. Mind you, this was before the litte cuties became so popular and available anytime. Lately, we have been received a monthy box of fruit from Pittman & Davis and it's always fun to see what is in the box and enjoy the fresh pears, apples or oranges.Class Pass or Fitness PackageIf you live in area that offers Class Pass that would be a great option for a fitness friend to try out different studios, workouts and classes. If your area doesn't have Class Pass, what about a group of classes to a studio they might enjoy or not splurge on themselves? A group of sessions with a personal trainer or coach is another great option. I always have a couple of people purchase some one on one sessions as gifts.Massage Gift CertificateThis is another great gift for someone who might not take the time or spend the money on themselves. Who doesn't love a great massage?Thorlo SocksThis might seem like a strange gift, but I promise, once you wear these socks you will see that they are absolutely magic!By way of books, I could on on and on, but here are three books from different genres that have stuck with me this year.Ugg SlippersI've had these Ugg slippers for quite a while now and just can't seem to part with them. I am so happy when the temp drops ever so slightly so I can pull them out. I slip into them first thing in the morning and can't wait to slide them on at night! Go get these now! Garmin Vivoactiv WatchThis is my new favorite watch. I have it in white and it's especially nice because I can see it! Ha! This is a great fitness tracker. It will track your walking, running, biking, swimming and sleep. I was also able to add a stopwatch App to it to use while teaching classes. It does all sorts of cool stuff. With a strap it can also monitor your heart rate. It's a really smart watch but easy enough to not feel tangled up in technology. That's it for some of my favorite things from 2016. If you have any questions about any of these I'm happy to share! Here's to enjoying your day and the season!
