Weekly Meal Plan . . . It's gonna be a good week!

images-4I actually got to the grocery store TODAY with a real grocery list, a 3 meal plan for the week, AND a plan for Sunday Night Dinner.  Even more impressive is that I am actually getting it on this post before Monday.  That's a good one for me!Sometimes I really dread Mondays.  Sometimes it can be hard coming down from a great weekend.  Weekends can be such a special time to spend time with your friends and family and enjoy the whole weekend mentality.  We had a great, fun and busy weekend.  We had beautiful weather for a successful Friday Night Football game with the Second Son and then were in Athens for the day to see the First Son.  The Bulldogs were quite successful, as well, so it made for a fun weekend.Extending the whole weekend feel a bit tonight, the Third Son has four friends over for dinner.   I  have a great Sunday Night plan for homemade pizza on the grill for these hungry teens.  In addition, I am preparing, for me, a cauliflower crust, my first attempt and can't wait to share it later in the week!  It was a winner!  Yes, you can eat clean and eat pizza.  Yoohoo!Rather then dreading the whole Monday morning thing and the beginning of a new week, I am embracing a new week and am looking forward to getting at it!So, here's the plan for the week:

  1.  Garlic Chicken - yes, it's a crockpot meal.  It IS Monday, so that's a no brainer!  This recipe calls for lots of garlic, so make sure you aren't planning on anything special afterwards.  Hmmmm.

2.   Easy Jambalaya - this is my very own recipe.  You can also see it on my Pinterest Board!  Check                       it out!3.  Baked Salmon and Asparagus.  This is also on my Pinterst Board, Feel Good Foods.  I am already looking forward to this one!  We are huge Salmon fans and love to have it fairly regularly.  If you don't like salmon, substitute any flaky fish in this recipe.I also filled my cart with good fruits, oranges, pears and apples.  Vegetables for sides such as broccoli, spinach to sautee', asparagus and extra greens and kale for smoothies, salads and snacks.images-3What's on tap for you this week?  Are you ready to start strong?  Hoping your are  looking forward to a great week!Enjoy Your Day!Signature
