Weekly Meal Plan with a little nip in the Air . . .
Oh what a glorious day it is here! It's the kind of day that is absolutely perfect and you want to last forever. It was this same kind of day yesterday. I told the Third Son that I wished we could have another second Sunday just like it so we could enjoy it all over again!Yesterday was far too beautiful to do anything as mundane as go grocery shopping! Today was the first official day of my Fit in 50 (minutes!) Bootcamp styled classes. We met outdoors and it was such a great way to begin the day and the week! Since I failed to get to the grocery yesterday, after class I had to make a quick trip to start the week. I got the goods for three meals for the weekThere is nothing fancy here. I went to my local Publix and got everything I needed for these three meals, plus some extra fruit, veggies, hummus, nuts and seeds for the week. I am looking forward to preparing some easy, real food meals for the boys this week. I'm also going with tried and true recipes that you can find right on my site. No new try and hope they turn out meals planned.Flank Steak (I'm using the crock pot to cook the flank steak like in this recipe, without the peppers) with Roasted Green Beans and PotatoesWhite Chicken ChiliMeatball Subs (I am using this recipe for the meatballs and sauce, then I will stuff them into warmed hoagie rolls. This is an all time favorite of my boys - and not something I typically serve!)These are fairly quick meals, in fact, two can be done in the crockpot. I am hoping the weather stays this wonderful so I can be outside and not in the kitchen!What are you planning for the week? How is your weather? Do you have that little nip of Fall in the air?
