Refresh & Reboot Recap

Before I begin I just want to say thank you for all of the kind comments to my previous post.  I am grateful for your understanding and support.  Also, I so appreciated hearing from some who had similar experiences with their own losses,  and handling family traditions and vacations. Now, to something I had planned on going over earlier, but with the whole no wifi thing while at the beach . . .During the month of June I sponsored a program I called Refresh & Reboot.  It was and is not a diet program or a Refresh and Reboot on Marle-Deen Fit, marladeenfit.complan where I tell folks what to eat, not eat, how and when to exercise or make crazy demands on the participants.  I wanted to have a set time to really focus on health, making good choices, moving more and maybe even getting out of our comfort zone as far as doing feel good things for our bodies.  You can see it described on the Refresh & Reboot Page. The first week was a free week to see what it was all about and you may have followed along here.  After that there was a 2 week option and the 4 week option ending at the end of June.  During that time, for those participating I sent our tips, menu options, healthy recipes, workouts, or workout ideas or basically cheered folks on to continue with their healthy habits.  Since I was also following along, I was also reminded to choose a healthy breakfast option, get in protein with each meal, hydrate and continue to keep moving. It felt great getting back to healthy habits at a perfect time for the summer.  It felt really good leading into a week long vacation and I think the Refresh & Reboot Program helped me continue to keep things healthy while away.  I am soooo human and will confess that I normally gain 3-5 pounds while on vacation.  That did NOT happen this time which made coming home much less depressing!I was excited with the program and with the feedback I got from participants.  Looking over the program now I see tweaks I can make, additions and other information to add that could benefit participants.  All in all I think it was  a good jumpstart to getting back to being healthy, putting health in focus and experimenting with how great you can feel after only one week, 2 weeks and 4 weeks of forming and following great habits.I'd love to hear more from you!  Did you follow during Week 1?  For those of you who participated, what did you think?  What was the good, bad or ugly?  What would you like to see more of, less of, what tips can you give for another such program or Round 2?Hope You are Enjoying Your Day!Signature
