A Little Update and Changes are a coming . . .

If you think I’ve been off the radar a bit lately, you are right. It has been intentional.  I don’t know about you but when I go to my email inbox I am completely overwhelmed.  I feel completely bombarded by just about every one!  I know this is the time for business to ramp it up and I get that.  There are some great deals out there and this is prime shopping season but it feels a bit too  much for me.

I also follow several wellness/fitness folks out there that I love.  This is a huge time for these writers also (of which I am one so it’s not like I’m pointing fingers.  These are writers I admire and follow and often share with you all!)  However, I feel like it is a lot of the same.  There are so many articles online and in the magazines about how to get through the Holidays in a healthy way.  How not to gain weight.  How to fit in workouts during the busy Season.  My stance on this has always been to  Maintain and Not Gain during the Holidays. ,  I did write my encouragement to Flip the Switch this Holiday Season.  Above that I think we all know that if we choose to eat half a dozen sugar cookies every day until December 25th, out pants will surely get tight.  Right?  I think we all know to do the best we can to fit in our workouts when we can.  Along those lines,  I don’t think I can share anything monumental or new.

I also did not create a shopping list or favorite gift idea list share this year.  I did share my updated Shopping Page where I have shared the items and products I have loved, many of which were shared here.  I do enjoy looking at others’ gift lists, but, again, there is only so much time to devote to reading about shopping.  I have seen a few things that are unique and different.  But, again, I probably don’t have much new to share there and clutter up your inbox – and your head with!  So.. . . . .long way of saying,  I have intentionally not blown up your inbox recently and cluttered your time and space with more white noise. .  By now I’m thinking you have a pretty good idea of what you want or need to complete your lists, and know where to go to get ideas.  I find myself looking and perusing and then thinking that I really do not need much more stuff coming into your house.

There is also another reason I have not been in your inbox as much.  It has not been because I have been sitting on my laurels either.  Well, I have been doing quite a bit of sitting, but there a reason.  I have been working really hard on an update to my website and reworking and improving this site.  This space has been wonderful for keeping me curious, helping me continue to work, grow and learn.  However, I’ve felt like it was time for a facelift.  I want to share new content in an updated space and share more valuable information, programs and coaching with you.

Some of the changes that I am excited about have been in the works for a bit, and in my mind for quite a long time.  I’ve been far too chicken, though, to actually take the steps to move forward.  I’ve decided that this is the time to get out of my comfort zone.  I am passionate about cheering and motivating and sharing all of the gifts of a healthy and balanced life.  I have found some simple answers that have helped clients, as well as myself, find that sweet spot of freedom.  I wanted another way to share and reach people outside of my own little world.  Sometimes we know what to do and sometimes we think we know what to do. And sometimes it’s really good to have someone in your corner giving you the nudge, a different perspective and motivation in a real-life kind of way.  There is a ton of information and misinformation in the health/fitness/nutrition world.  It is a lot to plow through and find what you want to follow or not follow.  Stay tuned as I hope to help you cut through all the noise and move forward!

So, as we get wound up for the Holiday Season I’ll be here with new works behind the scenes and getting to ready to launch the new and improved MarlaDeenFit.  Yeah!

AND while you are here remember to comment and subscribe to enter the Fuego Hot Sauce Giveaway that ends this Friday!!  This is such good stuff!

Enjoy Your Day!
