It is no secret around my home that I have absolutely no interest in professional football. I can count on a single finger the amount of times I have been to see my hometown team, the Atlanta Falcons, play. I do like football as long as it is highschool or college. Pro ball just hasn’t been my thing. This year, however, I can’t NOT get caught up in the Falcons Fever. Today at the bank I even told the teller to “Rise Up”!
When it comes to Superbowl Sunday I think there are two camps. There are those people that are ALL about the football and there are those that are ALL about the FOOD. If you find yourself in the food camp or just want to enjoy BOTH the football and the food, and don’t want your indulging to leave you feeling like a loser on Monday, I have a few Superbowl Snacks to share.
First of all, I can’t even imagine the amount of wings that will be prepared, cooked and consumed on Sunday! If wings are on your menu, how about trying these that are always a hit in our house. My boys love these!
A Cheese Plate or Cheese Board can be a great option. Need a little direction? Here’s a great guide for Creating a Cheese Board. Beautiful and Tasty!
One of my “can’t turn down” treats is cheese dip. The Husband has described my addiction much like a meth addiction. If I start, stopping is so, so hard! If you have my same addiction, here’s a recipe you’ll need to try.
Another Eating Well recipe that I love to have and serve . . .
Another favorite is healthy, light, easy and so tasty!
These are some of my top lighter Superbowl Snacks. I’ll be whipping up a few of these on Sunday as we all prepare to RISE UP and cheer on those Falcons!
Enjoy Your Day!
RISE UP!
