Push Ups to Abs Workout . . .

I’ve been teaching a bunch of classes lately.  That’s a good thing – no complaints here.  What has happened, though, is that my personal workouts have become pretty slim.  In fact, I’ve rarely been in the gym for myself.  Not only do I miss that time as my own stress release, but I miss the time to exercise for me and work on my own fitness and I miss that time to be a little creative and come up with different combinations to use with clients and in classes.

This morning I had the chance to work with an awesome trainer who can always put me through the paces.  So,  I was able to get in a workout for myself, be pushed by someone else and sweat through some fresh combinations.  One of the combinations was really good for me because I’ve let push ups  fall by the wayside.  I’m not really sure why because I’m a huge fan.  Push Ups are one of the best overall exercises we can do.  They work upper body, chest, and the entire core.  It’s a miracle move!

Here’s the combo I did today which is great to slip into your workout or turn to on those days when you need something quick and efficient.

CHEST TO ABS

I will confess that most of my push up were on my knees and I was STILL feeling this!

I haven’t shared a workout lately, so let me know if you give it a try!

Enjoy Your Day!

LOVE this! I’ll confess that when I’m focused on running training, I let my strength exercises lapse and this is a super-easy way to get them in – thanks!

I know how that goes! I was sore from these so I’ve let mine lapse, too!
