My 5 Favorite Things . . .Part 2 . . . And a Wonderful Holiday Challenge

Recently I posted some of My Favorite Things that I have discovered over the past year that I have loved!  I thought they might be some ideas for some folks on your list OR for your own list.  Now, I’m sharing some things I’ve found that I have on my own Wish List.  I’m making it very easy for some certain someones to do a little shopping if they are so inclined. . . . However, that’s not really why I ‘m sharing it here.  I just think these are some things that might make someone on your list smile.  I’ve included the link to the website so you can check it out for yourself!

Here are My 5 Favorite Things for this Season:

1.  Uncommon Goods Yoga Garden Sculptures

How cute are these?  You can purchase them separately or get all three.  Of course, you have to be a fan of yard art, like me to appreciate these yogis.

2.  Sweaty Betty Yoga Vest

I think this tank looks so comfy for yoga, a workout or just hanging out.  Of course, I also like the reminder to “go with the flow”, not only in yoga, but in life.  Always a good thing to remember!

3.  Underwater IPod Shuffle

Lately, I’ve been back in the pool for some of my workouts.  It’s been a while and, surprisingly, since I normally have a love/hate relationship with pool workouts, I’ve loved it.  There’s nothing that makes me feel better afterwards!  A girl showed me her waterproof IPod shuffle the other day and she sang its praises.  Seems like a perfect way to break up some of the monotony of laps.

4.  Joy Pillow

This is such a simple little pillow, but I fell in love with it.  If you have been around this site for any time you know I’m a big believer in Joy.  Finding joy, creating joy, not letting things steal your joy, you name it.  This just speaks to me!

5.  Choose Joy Because Happiness Isn’t Enough by Kay Warren

Looks like a theme here, doesn’t it?  Well, I had this book and loaned it, as I love to do with books.  However, it’s one of those that I would like to keep on my shelf at all times.  It is definitely a keeper.  I love some good inspiration!

That’s is.  My 5 Favorite Things  for this Season.  You’ll notice there are no diamonds, cars or yachts, so Santa Baby is getting off light this year.  Only Kidding!  This Season I’m really looking forward to a slower pace, less hustle and a simpler holiday.  I’m enjoying looking around for meaningful, individual gifts for those on our list.  And since I’m still trying to hold fast to my own NO SHOPPING FOR MYSELF Challenge, I’m hoping to have some money left over for something purposeful.

By the way, speaking of a Challenge, let me share one with you that you might want to join, or might make you think or invent a little challenge of your own.  Check out Claire’s 21 days to  Hunger-Free (& Healthy) Holiday).  I’ts a great idea – and wish I’d thought of it myself!  Let me know if you decide to join or come up with one of your own!

Now, I’m off to hang some garlands.  Around this place, they don’t hang themselves, you know.

What’s on your list this year?  Anything special for those on your list?  Any of your favorites you’d like to add?  And I hope by posting this you aren’t thinking I’m some gift hungry gal . . . that’s definitely not the intent!

Hoping your are enjoying each day of this Glorious Season!
