Packing and a Pork Chop Dinner

Hellooooo.  I’ve been away lately, feeling a little swamped doing a lot of this . . .

But, tonight I still made time to “bring home the bacon and fry it up in the pan”.

I had some boneless pork chops and needed something quick and easy to do.  I looked around a little and came up with this.

Maple Pork Chops

4 tsp Chili  Powder
Salt and Pepper
Boneless Pork Chops
Olive Oil
Balsamic Vinegar
1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
1/2 Cup Chicken Broth or Stock

That’s it.  They look pretty tasty even in this poor picture, don’t they?
This is great to do anytime because I bet you have all of the ingredients in your pantry!  That’s the best when you don’t have that “but I don’t have time to go back to the store!” feeling when you are trying to get dinner in the oven!  (I have a great neighbor that I can always rely on for most of those last minute emergencies!)

By the way, I have these ridiculous trophies I got in highschool that I pulled out to throw out.  The boys refused to take them out for me.  They insisted I keep these gigantic trophies that have been sitting in my basement for years.  What’s that about?  Isn’t it time to get rid of them?  What do you do with that sort of stuff?

Little help here please . . . .
Have a great one!

I am always looking for a good pork chop idea – thanks! And good luck with the move. I always purge when in doubt. Tell your boys that if you do not get rid of this stuff, they will have to deal with it when you are old and gray. As you know, it is a pain dealing with your parents’ junk!

Maybe take photos of the trophies and then you can hang the photos somewhere…. I have the same hard time with my kids art work… Save or trash…. Pictures keep the memory alive…..less space to take up too. 🙂
